Generally, the Borador will have qualities of all the parents. They are usually a medium to large sized breed of dog that has a robust build that is still athletic and muscular without being too lean or too heavy. The coat of the Borador can range from the dense coat of the Border collie to the short coat of the Labrador Retriever but usually it is a dense double coat with a short, weatherproof undercoat and a short top coat. The breed is known for being very intelligent, They are usually very happy and the Borador often gets along well with everyone and are usually very friendly. They do well with children of all ages and can make a wonderful family pet. The Borador is usually very easy to train and their eagerness to please makes them quick to obey. The breed can do well with other dogs and pets and is usually a very sweet and gentle dog all around, although they can be very active.
