Beautiful AKc english bulldog puppies for adoption

Hello,
Your puppies are beautiful and we are interested. We have always been dog owners. Currently we do not have any dogs. Our last dog was a full blooded AKC german sheppard. We used to refer to him as our oldest as he was 6 months older than our first daughter. We got him when he was 3 months old and had him for almost 9 years. Unfortunately he was ill in his last year. He has been gone now for over 3 months and although we still miss our beloved pet dearly we feel as a family that we are ready to welcome a new addition. I do enjoy having puppies because I like to train them and allow them to grow up with our family. Although we have rescued some dogs in the past that were adults.
We are interested in a smaller dog as opposed to a large dog like the german sheppard. Partly because we used to live on 1 1/2 acres of land in the country that is suitable for larger breeds. Now we live in a subburban type area and have a nice sized fenced in yard but not really suitable for a large breed as they would be able to jump the fence.
We have two children 8 and 7. I am a housewife and my husband works. So I am home all the time except for errands and kid activites. Our dogs always stay indoors when we are gone because I feel more comfortable having them indoors to protect the home and themselves from others. I am not exactly sure where the dog will sleep. I have never put a dog in a crate to sleep at night as I have heard that some people prefer this method. My sister had a dog that was trained to sleep in a crate at night. I would ask your advise on this as we have never had this breed before and would like to know your opinion. I have always let the dogs roam freely in our home as I feel they are part of our family. Although this would happen after potty training and the chewing phase has subsided. I have always allowed our dogs to sleep in our bedrooms if they prefer or some like to sleep in the living room because they like to be close to the entry way as some guard dogs like to do. We also have a spare room much like a sunroom that we allowed our last pet to pretty much take over. Instead of a crate I suppose we just gave him a bedroom of his own. lol
We are not interested in showing our dog. Are your dogs full blooded english bulldogs and do they have papers? I have to say I am curious as to why your are only asking $300 for them. My husband fell in love with this breed when we first started looking for a smaller breed to be part of our family but they were just so expensive. $300 was about the max he wanted to spend on a dog. We prefer a dog that will not become a horse like our german sheppard that ended up being well over 6 ft tall when he stood on his back legs and was about 120 lbs. I need to be able to bath the dog regularly in our bathtub and we also have a large utility sink. Large dogs are just too much for me to handle anymore and my kids are not quit big enough to handle a large breed.
We have a great vet clinic that has been my vet since I was in 5th grade and I'm not in my mid 30's. They have taken care of all my animals since childhood. We will also get our puppy fixed as we are not interested on breeding or accidently having puppies ourselves. My husband prefers a male. I think because he feels that they are more protective of the family and because he is out numbered in the house being the only male himself. lol Although he has also shown interest in females as well. His first pick would be male. He asked me my thoughts and I feel that males have always been more protective of me and the girls from outsides. And females have always been a little more motherly and a bit more nurturing. My kids have only lived with the one male dog we had.
We need a dog that likes attention as we all are dog lovers. The entire family will be responsible for the dog as he or she will be a new family member. I am very interested to hear more about your puppies and hope that you will consider us for placement of one of your adorable pups.
Thanks so much,
Mary Meeker
